Welcome to Sword Dispatch: The WkQ Letters

“She wasn’t looking for a Knight. She was Looking for a Sword.” - Atticus the Poet

From the Chronicles of a Warrior KQueen, these dispatches cut through silence and speak truth to power.

Expect raw reflections, creative storytelling, poetry, confessional, and memoir-style writing, and letters bridging personal, intellectual, socio-political, and revolutionary thinking.

Writing is resistance. Storytelling is survival. Hence, this newsletter is a battle cry.

Sword Dispatch is intended to embrace the creative and the revolutionary, the wholeness and authenticity of the Warrior KQueen.

As an atomic newsletter, it will be provide curated topics and articles from the original blog, including personal essays and stories, alongside fresh insights relevant to all things empowerment, inclusion, authenticity, social justice, mental health, and intersectionality.

It will begin as a monthly newsletter (sometimes more frequent) and gradually become a weekly digest over time.

Continuing the 9-year legacy of Warrior KQueen, this newsletter will aim to connect with all those who believe that storytelling is resistance, voice is power, and writing is survival.

The Sword Dispatch is for the philosophers, the fighters, the revolutionaries, the creators, and the truth-tellers who refuse to dim their light and shrink in the face of erasure.

Whether you have been part of the Warrior KQueen’s community from the very beginning, or you are just discovering this space, Sword Dispatch is where raw reflection meets revolutionary thought—one letter at a time.

Writing is tough. And we don’t have time to worry about the people who ignore, dismiss, or silence our voices.

We stay Resilient, Empowered, and Connected.

We keep writing. We keep inspiring through the power of our words.

The Sword has always been a symbol of both struggle and strength, and through the Warrior KQueen’s Letters, it becomes the pena weapon of truth forged in personal stories, political analysis, reflections and creative expression.

This newsletter is about “self-empowerment to community empowerment,” for all those working to “change their stars,” especially in a world… in a system that wasn’t designed for them.

Join me in reclaiming voice, power, and belonging… one letter to the fellow Warrior at a time.
